Guardian/Foster Home program

We believe, and research shows, that dogs are happier and healthiest when they live their lives in the same home.  For this reason we employ a foster program for some of our mother dogs. 

From time to time we place one of our female puppies in a foster home where the dog is loved and cared for.  Once the dog matures(typically 2 years) we take her for health testing and if  she passes all her tests we include her in our breeding program.  We will find her the perfect mate and breed her.  She will come back to our home (all puppies are born and raised in our house) where she will be loved and cared for to deliver her litter.  When the puppies are approximately 6 weeks old the mother dog will return to her forever family.  The puppies will stay on our farm for another 2 to 6 weeks to socialize, train and prepare them for their forever homes.

 Once the contract has come to an end, Typically after 2 to 3 litters, we will spay her and return her to her forever family for full ownership.

• Owners get a quality dog for a reduced price or possibly for free
• many owners use the time the dog is away from their home to travel, have guests that are allergic to dogs visit their home, do renovations, knowing their dog is well cared for
• learn about dog breeding from the experience
• As a breeder we are not having to rehome dogs at 4 or 5 years of age
• As a breeder we can keep all our dogs in our home in a family environment and avoid the use of mass cement and metal kennels(I call them doggy jails)
